DESCRIPTION:The 2025 GRR Christmas Handicap will be held on Sunday 14 December. The first runner will be away at 10 am and then there will be a staggered calculated timed start depending on what time you have predicted for your chosen distance. \nWe will be running a 10 km and a 5 Km Handicap. \nThere will be no time pieces of any description allowed during the handicap!!. \nFurther details will be published nearer the time and a handicap list for your times will go up on the rugby club notice board in due course. Please be honest about your predicted time…….we will change it if we think it is wrong !! \nThere will be bacon or sausage baps on completion with mince pies and the usual Christmas fare. There will be spot prizes for the best male and female Christmas themed fancy dress. \nThe TCS London Half Marathon club place draw will take place on completion of the Handicap. \nSee you there!! \n

DESCRIPTION:The 2025 Christmas Mince pie run will take place on Thursday 18 December. Please meet at the club at 6.45pm for a 7 pm start. There will be a running group and a walking group. Heading towards town. Runners will go down Clayhall and Haslar Road and meet up by the Xmas tree by Gosport Town Hall. There will be a walking group heading from the club towards town and will meet up with the runners by the Xmas Tree for a whole club photo. \nPlease wear your best Christmas outfits. \nOn completion of the club photo will move across to Alverbridge Nursery where there will be hot mince pies / mulled wine / non-alcoholic drinks and other nibbles. \nMark Jakins will be having his Voucher presentation as well. \nSee you all there!!
